Stray Kitty is a delightful browser add-on developed by ggxian. This free program is designed to bring a touch of whimsy to your browsing experience. With Stray Kitty, you can add cute little cats to your browser tabs, providing a playful distraction during your internet adventures.
To use Stray Kitty, simply click on the add-on button and choose from one of the available cats to place it in a tab. If you want to clear all the cats, there's an eraser button that will do the trick.
The latest version of Stray Kittyintroduces some exciting new features. You can now adjust the size of the kitties with a slider, and there's a sandbox mode for situations where Stray Kitty can't start on a page. The performance has also been improved, with fewer canvas draw calls and fixes for issues such as cats getting stuck in the ground and choppy performance.
In the previous version), the pop-up user interface was redesigned, allowing you to choose which cat you want. Other improvements include fixing issues with the add-on failing in certain situations, improving the framerate and timings, and gray out the icon when it cannot be used on a page.
In version 1.0.3, a setting to customize the frames per second was added, along with optimizations to delay the loop until the first kitty is spawned. Bugs were also fixed, including one where the popup would interact with the wrong window and a note was added to the popup to indicate when the add-on will not work on certain pages.
Stray Kitty is a charming and lighthearted addition to your browsing experience, perfect for cat lovers and those looking for a bit of fun while surfing the web.
